Bio

I have a background in wildlife conservation and management and a Masters' degree in Entomology and Insect Science. After working for the USDA-ARS for 6.5 years as a lab technician studying honey bee pathogens, microbiota and toxicology, I have transitioned to the industry side of things and am currently working on the development of a honey bee vaccine to fight AFB with Dalan Animal Health, Inc. I am also a nomadic dog mom that manages their own apiary and produces honey to share with friends and family.
