How Much Should I Charge?

How much should you charge for a bottle of honey? We sometimes let emotions get in the way of profits “I don’t want to insult my customers”. You would be surprised what customers are thinking.  Chris Puetz will break down in common sense (or cents) how to determine what you should be charging and why you may be undercutting yourself and your fellow beekeepers in this day of natural local product desire.​

Bio

Chris has been a beekeeper for just over 6 years now, having gotten started after taking a class at Northeast Iowa Community College.  Since that time he’s been bitten by the beekeeping bug and dove head first into creating a small business (Wild Hills Honey), and serving as the president of the Iowa Honey Producers Association. Outside beekeeping Chris is a CrossFit Coach and self described insurance geek working with clients in their risk management programs.
